I am an NJ Notary Public and have been commissioned since 2012. Shortly after receiving my commission I took a Certified Signing Agent course with the National Notary Association and became a certified signing agent, which means I am able to help with mortgage closings, as well as other loan situations.
During the first couple years of my commission, I was called upon by a friend to perform a notarization for a person who was homebound and then, not too long after I was asked again to travel to someone's job to perform a notarization because they couldn't leave the office and needed something signed right away and thus, the mobile part of my notary business was born.
I just knew that there must be others who, for whatever reason, might not be able to travel to me, or elsewhere, and so I began offering a mobile service.
Some people still like to come to me but mostly, I go to them...at their homes, businesses, the library, local coffee shops, even grocery store parking lots and on the hoods of tractor-trailers!
I love being able to be available to offer such an important service.
